LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that expulsion of even a single point from Terms of Reference (TORs) would not be tolerated and the investigation will not be accepted.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is putting his entire government on stake just to hide his corruption. He said that the PTI will reject the commission if formed on the basis of the prime minister’s letter. He said that Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali should form a commission like Shoaib Suddle and sit-in commission.
Imran blamed Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and said that the party tried to defame him by bribing Sita White, publishing interviews and accused his former wife Jemima Khan to be a part of Jewish lobby. Commenting on accusations against the PTI leaders, he said that his party’s leaders Jahangir Khan Tareen and Aleem Khan are themselves answerable to allegations hurled against them.
While talking to another private TV channel, Imran said the government would be held accountable for not catching the two PTI leaders if they were involved in any wrongdoings. “The two have however declared their assets,” he said.
Commenting on the issue of women harassment at the PTI rallies, he said he regretted the unfortunate incidents. He said he was preparing a workers’ force in order to avoid such untoward incidents from happening in the future.
