ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Secretary General PTI Jehagir Tareen to submit replies on applications submitted against them related to allegations of owning offshore companies.
A three-member bench of the SC headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali heard the case filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi against the PTI chief and Jehangir Tareen.
During the proceedings, both respondents sought time to submit replies before the court. The court accepted the appeals and granted two weeks’ time for the submission of replies and adjourned hearing of the case.
